Britannia Timber was born from a simple appreciation for just how extraordinary British-grown timber can be.
Based in Huddersfield, we source distinctive hardwoods from across Britain, working with arborists, foresters and sawmillers to find timber with exceptional character, provenance and potential.
From richly figured Walnut and characterful Oak to Elm, Yew, London Plane and unusual British-grown species, every tree reveals something different. We specialise in individual slabs and boards selected for their natural beauty.

Saul has spent more than 20 years working with trees and timber across the UK and Europe. Starting out as a tree surgeon before moving into sawmilling and eventually timber supply, he's worked with wood at every stage of its journey.
